English Pointer

The English Pointer is a powerful, enthusiastic hunting dog. They are extremely high energy and very loyal. First bred in 16th century Europe, English Pointers were brought to the United States in the late 1800s and became known simply as “bird dogs”, particularly in the South. Bobwhite quail are considered classic English Pointer game, but they will also work with other game birds such as pheasant, grouse and woodcock.
